Clock/Timing Devices

Clock/timing devices are important parts for generating the clock signals required for the normal operation of various electronic devices. The clock signals are used for synchronizing with peripheral devices such as a controller. The part that generates the reference clock signals is the timing device. Several types of clock/timing devices are available. Typical examples include a surface mounted clock buffer, digital counter with timer function and multi-range timer. Various mounting methods are also available, such as a recessed type, panel mounting and non-projecting type. Other parts include real-time clocks and crystal resonators. Select according to factors such as frequency and voltage. Ceramic and crystal are mainly used as the core material.
