Power Supply Modules

Power supply modules are a type of electronic component used in power supply circuits. They are used in desktop computers, flat-screen TVs and other home electrical appliances, as well as data processing devices, industrial devices, and more. They are also called "power modules". A power supply module houses components such as a switching transformer, control IC, control circuits, switch element (FET), etc. High-performance switched-mode power supplies can be designed by attaching components, such as input noise filters or output smoothing capacitors, externally. Power supply modules are available in types such as AC/DC and DC/DC, and require appropriate parts for them to function properly. For this reason, it is important to select parts according to their properties and applications.
